Our U18s take to the pitch on Saturday to play Rainey OB RFC in the final of Ulster Carpets Plate competition.
These 2 teams have met twice already this season in closely fought matches, with both sides sharing the spoils with a home win each.
LKRFC 18s have had a mix bag of results this season as they were promoted from the regional league to the Ulster Provincial league. They took a little more time to find there feet and adapt to the tougher demands of provincial rugby.
However the lads have matured over the season and shown some true grit to stick with it through some challenging times and earn themselves a spot in the plate final.
Team Captain Ryan Orsi says of the team this year... "There are some very talented individuals in this U18s squad but it's only in the latter part of the season we have started to play as a team and this will be clear to see this Saturday - We look forward to the game and if we play as I know we can... We Will WIN!"

The final is at Meadowbank Sports Grounds, Magherafelt, KO 12.30 25/March.
