Letterkenny hosted Strabane on Saturday and came out to prove a point after losing twice to the Strabane men last season. From the start Kenny came out all guns blazing and played nearly all the rugby in Strabane half for the first 20 minutes. Having missed most of the season the return of Ben Mortimer and Mark Timoney really added to the Kenny momentum. A penalty kick in the first five minutes from Stephen Robinson got points on the board and this was followed by tried from Mortimer, Devine and a fantastic full pitch run to get a try from on the on form Eoin Friel. The first half finished with the Kenny men well ahead at 24-0.
The Strabane pack began to tire in the 2nd half while Kenny upped the tempo getting in further tries from Peterson x2, Devine, Friel and Yuno.
Out half Robinson had a 100% record on the day to bring the final score to 52-0.
