A warm breeze, blew across Inishowen, as the under 12s, played three matches against Derry, Donegal Town and Tir Conaill.

After last weeks loss to Derry, it was great to have the opportunity to improve our performance. We did manage to improve it, with an early try to Kaymin Short, then a further try to Jack Speer, in the first half ( although a try to Eoin Parkinson was disallowed. )
During the second half, Kaymin scored a further two tries, and Derry responded with two tries, to give Letterkenny the first win of the day.

The second match was against Donegal Town. The team were on fire, and scored eight tries - one to Oisin Farrell, one to Bryan McGettigan, one to Jack Speer, two to Alex Wylde, and three tries to Ben Hopkins ( the third try, included some fast thinking, to touch the ball down over the line, after a slow fumbling pass, from Donegal Town. )

The third game was against Tir Conaill, and Letterkenny had the stronger team, with a ten-try win. One try to Niall Murray, his first try of the season, for this new player. One try to Alex Wylde, one to Bryan McGettigan, two tries to Eoin Parkinson, ( one after Peter Sparks's titanic effort, running the length of the field. ) A massive five tries, were scored by Jack Speer, including another huge effort by Bryan McGettigan running through the entire Tir Conaill team, to pass the ball to Jack to enable him to finish the try.

A monstrous effort was put in, by all the team, including Levi, Rory, David, Jack, Zak, Daithi and Emmett.
